ABOUT

Kevin Arnone is a weather reporter/anchor with a B.S. in Operational Meteorology and Weathercasting. He joined WTNH in New Haven, CT in April 2014 as a weather producer and executive producer of WXEdge.com. Within a year he made his way on TV. After leaving Connecticut, Kevin joined WIS-TV in Columbia, South Carolina in January 2018. Kevin has been nominated for a few Emmys for his on air performance and in 2020, he won his first Emmy for his storm coverage during Hurricane Dorian. Kevin decided to leave TV in 2023 to pursue another career.

 

Kevin was born and raised in Orange, CT graduating from Amity High School. Then he went on to study at Western Connecticut State University.

 

His weather interest started at a very young age. He was 9 years old and on vacation in Florida when a tornado came through a mile from where his family was staying. Ever since that event, all he ever wanted to do was learn about weather. Kevin also loves to bowl, cook and take care of his three dogs and two beautiful kids.
